Welcome to 7 South Language Arts
Hello! My name is Ms. Aulph. Oh yeah, that's Mr. Yacko. While we no longer teach on the same team, I just couldn't bring myself to remove my favorite picture. I hope you are as excited as I am to start 7th grade. I give 7th grade "two thumbs up!" Ha! Get it? Two thumbs...look at the picture. Anyway, this is my 4th year in the building, and I know it will be the best yet! You're probably wondering what I do around Franklin, well I teach Language Arts, Honors Reading and Reading Enrichment classes for 7 South. I can be seen often times at Franklin games, concerts and other events. Please make sure to say hello to me. I may seem rushed at times, but I do have time to say hello, even if it is just hello. Anywho, if you would like to know more about me, make sure to check out the 'Meet the Teacher' page. Otherwise, search around and see what else you can find. A-hoy hoy!

Absences:
When you return from being absent, you will need to check the absent folder to find out what you missed. Any assignment or activity must be made-up! For every day you are absent, you will be given two days to make-up the missed work. Make sure to label the top of each page "ABSENT WORK" with the date you missed. Return these assignments to me when they are completed. If you forget to label them, the work will be considered "Late", and points will be deducted according to the regular grading scale. Any materials passed out while you are absent will be in the class file. It is YOUR responsibility to collect the work you missed!
